Bruce's Bio

Bruce Whitcomb - Chief Engineer and Studio Manager

Over twenty years experience as a professional recording engineer,musician, writer and producer. Jobs ranging from, records, cds, radio shows, indents, commercials, TV shows, film scores, music videos, live performances etc.

Brief History

1972 - Designed, built and operated Littlerock Studio and ran it into the late eighties. Studio was all analog tape. Mostly records, vinyl, demos, commercials, radio shows, educational films etc. Also performing continuously with bands in the local circuit. Maintained a day job as a carpenter.

1992 - Designed, built and operated Arcade Digital. Moved to digital recorders, mastered to analog tape. More of the same work but more cds for local artist. Maintained day job as a carpenter. Continued performing with bands in local circuit.

1994 - Continued operating Arcade Digital while simultaneously went to work as assistant engineer for Remote Control, a mobile recording outfit working larger venues on a national level. Live performances of bands, choirs etc., to film score tracking with Seattle Symphony. Continued performing with bands in local circuit.

1999 - Remodelled and opened Arcade Recording, a larger commercial space capable of handling larger groups with a great sounding performance space. Mostly cds, and music video work for artist and bands. Eventually had to leave space due to increasing ambient noise and rent increases. Continued performing in local circuit.

2004 - Relocated and created new studio space out of town, reducing ambient noise and rent restrictions. More cds for local artist and bands. Began focus on opening small independent record label, Red Arrow Records to help artist from Arcade Recording.
