Arcade Recording has seen a number of changes since it's beginning in 1992. Originally started in a small backyard location, then moving to the larger commercial space located in town and now back out to a comfortable country location. During this time the studio turned out more than sixty cds and scores of demos and other projects covering a large range of musical styles. I am pleased to say we will be offering a lot of the same services only on a more limited time frame. Forming and operating our own small record label, Red Arrow Records, will require a good deal of studio time.

The new performance space, though not as large as the previous North Street facility, sounds great and feels real good. The control room is comfortable, sounds fat and transfers well. Ambient and electrical interference are noticeably lower than the previous in town location. An added bonus is air conditioning in both rooms.

Gear line up remains pretty much the same other than different processing, mics and mic-pres, etc. being tried. Operations still center around the Soundcraft Sapphyre 36 channel console with JL Cooper automation.

Mastering is still performed out of house, yet in town, By Bandit Audio. Arcade and Bandit have a successful working history on scores of cds and projects.

Arcade also has access to a good selection of talented people from musicians, composers, producers, etc. that can help you with your project.
